Connie Lane

Connie Lane has worked as a journalist, editor, and creative writing teacher. A longtime Anglophile, she studied English literature at Queen's College, Oxford University and quickly became a devotee of Jane Austen. Her four contemporary romances -- Dirty Little Lies, Guilty Little Secrets, Romancing Riley, and Reinventing Romeo -- have received rave reviews from The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and Publishers Weekly has called her work "sassy and stylish." With The Viscount's Bawdy Bargain, her first Regency-era romantic novel, Connie combines her love of English history and culture with her passion for writing humorous, romantic fiction. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with her husband, their two children, and an over-sized Airedale named Hoover.
