When not in the classroom, Monica enjoys being at home with her husband, three children, and their lovable Samoyed, Nova. Most of her free time is spent at nearby arenas, with a cup of warm coffee in her hands, watching her children chase their dreams of Olympic gold medals and NHL stardom.
