Lisa Kingsley has over thirty years’ experience as a food writer, editor, and recipe developer. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Fine Cooking and Better Homes & Gardens. She collaborated with the Smithsonian Institution on American Table: The Foods, People, and Innovations That Feed Us (Harvest, 2023). She is the coauthor of Cooking with Magic: A Century of Recipes Inspired by Disney’s Animated Films from Steamboat Willie to Wish (Insight Editions, 2023) and The Powerpuff Girls: The Official Cookbook (Insight Editions, 2024). She has fond memories of playing PAC-MAN and eating awesome snacks with her friends in the 1980s at the arcade in Mason City, Iowa.
