Why the cards were created
When loved ones visit from the other side in this seemingly spontaneous way, their messages and motivation are much the same. Over many years, crossing different generations, religions and backgrounds, I’ve realized that their contact is mainly based on a desire to reassure. Here are the most common reasons the deceased reach out from the spirit realms.
• I love you, I will always love you
• I am proud of you
• I continue to be interested in your life
• I still exist
• I am with you
• I made it safely to the other side
• Stop worrying about me, I am fine
• Please continue with your life
• It’s important to me that you have fun and laugh again
• Yes I will be at the wedding; will see the new baby; am aware you passed your driving test
• I am protecting you and fighting for your rights from this side of life
• I have the dog with me, the cat is fine
• I met up with Grandma/Aunty Kate/the baby you lost
• Even though Dad is unable to come through yet, I can be here instead so I am visiting in this way to show you that life continues so you don’t worry about Dad
